Started the day looking for stuff at he beach just down from the motel-nada-bad spot.
Turned out to be a short distance driving day, about 40 miles, maybe. We stopped a several pull-outs for scenic views.
We stopped for lunch at a place that was right on the ocean-we sat on the outdoor deck- it was a beautiful day. They had a motel with rooms overlooking the ocean too. It wasn't too $$$$ so it seemed juussst right, Goldilocks . Plus it has a fireplace-(it's gas) but it's rustic feeling!
