Spring Break- the leaders of the pack!

We picked up Corbin on Thursday for a visit to our house.
On the way home we stopped at a nice park for a hike. Corbin commented that it was "Full of nature!" And yes it was!  Grampy spotted the first tiny snow trillium and I spotted Harbinger-of-Spring. We also took a walk yesterday at Pokegon (forgot the camera!:)) and Grampy spotted Hapatica, good eye Grampy!

Birthday Donut!

 We went down for Corbin's Birthday. On Sat. night, Corbin read several books to us, he's getting quite good at it! Grammie read one more story upstairs and Daddy tucked him in. Then James told us that Corbin requested that we have candles on his morning donut. ( Donuts are a long-standing Corbin & Grammie tradition!)I had packed a candle & matches, thinking the same thing !! Yes! All great minds think alike!
