Winter walks, Jan. 2011

We've been going for walks at our state parks and nature preserves. This one is Bicentennial Woods south of us on Willow Creek. It was so beautiful in the snow with open water on the creek, it looked like a Christmas card!

What a sweetie!

We always have fun and appreciate the time we are able to spend with James, Kelly and Corbin. Although it seems we do take more pictures of him! I'll try to do better this year & include everybody!

Hanging Rock.

While driving along we spotted this giant rock outcrop above the river. It looked way out of place, most of the rest of the area is pretty flat farmland. So we stopped to explore & take some pics. It's pretty neat.
