Santa Corbin!

We went down for our second Thanksgiving at Scott & Tracey's (Thank you both!)
On Sunday we went out Christmas tree shopping with James & Kelly & Corbin. It was a beautiful sunny day, not too cold, for hunting for the right tree. And just right for Corbin to sit in the sleigh. On Woody, on Poplar.....the regular reindeer were unavailable!

The right tree!

Corbin lays down the mat for James to use while cutting and yelled "Timber" when it came down.

It's a group effort!

The neighbor's pumpkins.

I LOVE when pumpkins start to go bad! I have a fantasy of traveling around and taking pictures of old pumpkins for a big coffeetable book. I thought of calling them mumpkins or lumpkins......but googling those words turned up some disturbing stuff, UGH. Maybe it'll just have to be...."When Pumpkins Go Bad!"

Sun on the creek.

We went out for another walk today- too nice & sunny to stay home! There won't be many more before winter. But then again, with the screwy weather patterns, who knows?

There's a fungus among us!

We went out for a ride and a walk and tested out my new camera. (Thanks James!)
We went over to Bonnyville Mill and then found another nice park on the way home.

Is that an elf?

Who lives under toadstools anyhow? Trolls live under bridges-  Keebler elves live in trees, but this guy didn"t have any cookies.

An anteater-looking rock with a leaf ear.

You had to be there!
