We traveled from the piney snowy mountains up to some mountains above the treeline that were just rocks and snow (people were skiing!)down to flatish scrubland to areas that looked like the badlands to big rocky canyons to snowy mountains and back down Buffalo! The elevation is 4645 so we're still up a ways. What a beautiful changing-every-minute day!
