Went to Hoover Dam- Lots of people, so we took a quick walk around, it's pretty impressive.

It's supposed to be good luck to rub the toes of the giant Art Deco statues. They symbolized something or other....I didn't read the placque(?) The American spirit? Science & Industry? Flying monkeys?

Monday night found us in Bishop CA- We WERE going to Yosamite through the back way......nope, road's closed ...snow! So we're heading around the other way. Gotta keep flexable!

These pics came out ok! On the strip! Sunday night

It was a trip! Mobs of people-big traffic jams, flashing, blinking, strobing lights for blocks & blocks & blocks. Interesting and slightly disturbing. We never left the car! Glad we did it but NO interest to see that again.
