We got tires this morning, hooray!Mostly a travel day, but pretty. Had the top down again!

Coolidge- an old mining town.
Now a ghost town. I never got as far as the mine area. According to the website, that part was still in pretty good shape. Oh well!

Monday June 27 Canmore B.C. to Kalispell Montana
This was the view out our motel room this morning-(ignore the Dairy Queen)A pretty traveling day!
Went to Calgary ( Big city, ugh!) to get tires- tried 2 Walmarts-no openings till afternoon so we headed back down out of Canada to Kalispell ,Montana to go to the Walmart here to get them-WRONG- no tire & lube at this place! And the Walmarts are getting sparce. May have to try someplace else!Well nuts! Staying here tonight- Decisions will be made tomorrow...
But hey, we saw a fox right by the road...no time for the camera. Also a couple more elks & deer.
Sunday June 26- Golden B.C. to Canmore Alberta.
We headed back to the parks today, through Kootenay and Banff. It was a nice day but kind of hazy. I just heard on the news it was caused by fires in Northern Alberta. We saw lots of wildlife (not just squirrels!) and had three good walks. I said WOW! lots of times today, this stuff is just CRAZY COOL!
